About Justice For The Damned

Hopelessness is the raw material for Justice for the Damned, an Australian deathcore band who have been working in the style since 2011. Their debut album made despair an explicit subject of the music. The five-piece pairs Bobak Rafiee's vocals with the guitars of Nick Adams, who also sings, and Kieran Molloy, over a rhythm section of bassist Ben Mirfin and drummer Chas Levi.

A single called "Copthrone King's" appeared in July 2012. In late 2016 they entered the studio with Sam Basal to record that debut, Dragged Through the Dirt, which came out in August 2017 and dwelt on hopelessness. In 2019 they relocated to New Jersey to make their second album with Will Putney, and Pain Is Power was released on 12 June 2020. A third album, Stay Relentless, arrived in August 2025, extending a run of full-length releases across eight years.
