About LNGSHOT
A name meaning poor odds, worn as a statement of intent: Lngshot are a South Korean four-piece of Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis. They are the first boy band assembled and managed by More Vision, the label founded by American-Korean rapper Jay Park, who wanted a group built around people sharing his mindset. Their sound mixes K-pop, hip-hop and R&B, and The Korea Times praised "Moonwalkin'" for avoiding the derivative feel that trips up some rap-leaning K-pop acts.
Their story began in August 2025 with a surprise appearance at Park's Hanyang University festival set. The 4shoboiz Mixtape followed in November, then the pre-debut single "Saucin'", whose video had Park playing a CEO scolding them over a middle-finger photo that had drawn criticism. They debuted on 13 January 2026 with "Moonwalkin'" and the EP Shot Callers, and Billboard Korea named them February's Rookie of the Month. Training Day arrived on 23 March, and 4shoboiz Vol. 2: 4shoville, made with Park, landed on 18 May. They also contributed "Fire with Fire" to an Anderson .Paak film soundtrack, and on 24 July won Global Rising Star and New Artist at the KM Chart Awards.
