Justice composed Grand Theft Auto VI score and release 'Flower in a Hurricane'
Rockstar Games has confirmed the French electronic duo wrote the game's original score, and their new song features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

Justice have been named as the composers of the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, with Rockstar Games confirming the appointment on 15 October 2026. The French electronic duo have also shared 'Flower in a Hurricane', a song for the game's soundtrack that features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
According to Pitchfork, which first reported the news, snippets of the track can be heard in the new launch trailer for the game. EILISH has not heard the full song or the score, and the source does not describe how either is put together.
Following the 2013 score
Pitchfork notes that the previous Grand Theft Auto score arrived in 2013 and was a group effort. The Alchemist, Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson and Oh No were the credited contributors, with DJ Shadow mixing and syncing the material. Justice now take on that role as a named composing act, rather than as one of several contributors.
Hyperdrama and 'Neverender'
The commission follows Justice's most recent album, Hyperdrama, released in 2024. Its track 'Neverender', another collaboration with Tame Impala, won the duo the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2025. 'Flower in a Hurricane' therefore reunites Justice with a collaborator from that record, this time alongside SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Pitchfork's review of Hyperdrama was written by Philip Sherburne.
A soundtrack released in stages
The full Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack runs to 34 tracks and is being released gradually ahead of the game's launch on 19 November. Nine songs have been released so far, including contributions from Yung Lean, Travis Scott and Cardi B.
Rockstar also unveiled the game's in-game radio DJs last week, according to Pitchfork. Players will be able to tune in to Bad Bunny's Cocoteo FM, Robyn's Flash FM and Lana Del Rey's Back Country Radio, among other stations.
Pitchfork's report does not say whether the score will receive a separate release, nor how much of Justice's music appears in the finished game. Those details have not been confirmed, and EILISH will update this report if Rockstar or the artists provide them.
