O2 Academy Glasgow

About the venue

Found on Eglinton Street, in the Laurieston part of the Gorbals, the O2 Academy Glasgow is a 2,500-capacity music room that once traded as the Carling Academy. For years it shared the city with a sister Academy Music Group site, the O2 ABC, until fire damage closed that venue in 2018. It now stands alone as the group's Glasgow address.
