About the venue

The Corn Exchange sits on Newport's High Street, a Grade II listed building whose roots go back to a trading hall that first opened in 1878. Today it works as a 500-seat music venue, so gigs here have a mid-sized, close-up feel. It is a room where Victorian commercial heritage now serves live bands.
