The Glasshouse International Centre for Music

About the venue

Set on the Gateshead side of the Quayside in north-east England, The Glasshouse is both a concert venue and a centre for musical education. It opened in 2004 as Sage Gateshead, a name many locals still use, in tribute to its early patron, the accountancy software firm The Sage Group. The North Music Trust now occupies the building.
